The cuisine of Delicia is a culmination of our love of food and drink from the Americas, Caribbean and Spain. Our passionate blend of ancestry and influence can be felt and tasted in all we do. Ricky began cooking with his family and learning about food at a young age in his native town of Toluca, Mexico. He came to the U.S. over fifteen years ago with the hope and intention of revolutionizing the way traditional Latin food is thought of and prepared in Indiana. Since then, he has participated in numerous events and dinners throughout the Circle City as well as hosting several in his home kitchen at Delicia. Ricky has worked with the restaurant group for over 7 years, serving as Sous Chef for The Northside Social, the restaurant group’s Lowcountry concept for 2 years prior to joining Delicia in 2012. Ricky is influenced by the communal kitchens and intimate family dining that he experienced growing up on his family’s farm. Having been with Delicia since its inception, he has established a style of New Latin cuisine representative of the Americas, Caribbean & Spain that he truly loves.
